PK Construction and Engineering was founded in 2001 as a 100% black owned company and since our inception we have become a trusted and reliable construction company by building lasting relationships with our clients, employees, suppliers and contractors.
With over 15 years of work under our belts, we continue to learn, and build from this experience. PK Construction and Engineering specializes in civil engineering, water solutions, general building construction and plumbing services. PK Construction and Engineering has established a reputation for reliability and technical excellence in all aspects of construction.
Working in both the private and public sectors, the Company can successfully deliver in the industrial, commercial, retail, leisure and residential segments of the industry. PK Construction and Engineering has become a highly respected company in the Civil Engineering market. We have recruited superior expertise from the industry, creating a powerful mix of experience and dynamic youth.
This strategy has culminated in PK Construction and Engineering successful involvement in infrastructure Improvement projects. PK Construction and Engineering has successfully completed contracts across various civil engineering disciplines. These include roads and earthworks, bridges, concrete reservoirs and various other aspects of civil engineering. PK Construction and Engineering has a CIDB rating of a7CEPE and our CRS number is 118883.

SAFETY AND HEALTH
Our key strategic objective to safety and health is the achievement of zero harm at the workplace. Project Leaders and the management team are instructed to ensure that safety is not compromised in any circumstances by encouraging positive safety behaviour always.
Project Leaders are required to apply a policy of zero tolerance to non-compliance with safety standards.
On a regular basis, our company undertakes safety audits and non-compliances must be resolved as soon as possible. At PK Construction and Engineering, we understand that accidents are prevented through cautious planning, appropriate training,
and cooperative efforts in all areas of our operations.
The challenges and advancements faced by the construction industry are unique in terms of safety. By analysing the causes of all accidents, effective preventative measures are therefore identified and implemented at all our work sites.
At PK Construction and Engineering we endeavor to adhere to the strict construction regulations on Safety and Health which prescribes that a client shall be responsible for the following in order to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Act:
• To prepare a documented health and safety specification for the construction work;
• To take reasonable steps to ensure that each principal contractor’s health and safety plan is implemented and maintained on the construction site; and
• To stop any contractor from executing construction work which is not in accordance with the principal contractor’s health and safety plan.
